I know the football historian who produced the fantastic football images website.
I have been telling him for ages to submit it as the best site of its kind on the web. It’s full of great pictures.
He’s not buying or selling anything. It’s a work of love!
Just about all the great players and teams are on the site. Yet there are also plenty of smaller clubs and less well known players featured too.

The Football Images Collection is an incredible Football History site. It is a strictly non-commercial website.
It is used as a Learning Resource – especially in Local History Libraries. The site contains 325 photographs of Football from 1954 to 1974 and covers 145 different football clubs and countries from British, European & World football. Several hundred players are featured on the site. The construction of the website began in 2004 and has developed over the past eight years.
